Munt Kazbek South - East route offer is for those who have a mountaineering experience at the amateur level and want to make climbing a more sporty and challenging route. This route of mount Kazbek is not a classic mountain route and requires more physical and mountaineering skills. The way starts at 4100 meters and ends at the Kazbek peak. All this time, you are moving on fixed ropes. Descend is from the classic route.
We are the only company who offers a climbing tour at the south-east route of Kazbek.

Day 1 – Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel (Tbilisi Center) (- / - / -) 
Day 2 -  Tbilisi - Sabertse Pass (Climbing Georgia camping) 3008 M.
Meet at 7:30 am in Tbilisi and drive to Sameba monastery (2200m) via Stephantsminda (Kazbegi). The way takes about 3 hours. From Sameba monastery we will start trekking to Sabertse pass (Climbing Georgia camping). Walking duration approximately 3 - 4 hour / 800 vertical meter / 5 km.

Day 3 -  Sabertse Pass 3008 m (Climbing Georgia camping) - Betlemi hut camping 3650 meter (old meteo station or weather station).
After breakfast at about 9 am we will start walking to Betlemi hut camping (3650 m). Walking time approximately 3-4 hours / 650 vertical meter / 4,5 km.
After Lunch short trekking to Betlemi chapel 3950 m  and back to Betlemi hut camping.

Day 4 - Acclimatization – walk to 4500m and back to BC at 3650m. during which time we will practice skills necessary to climb to the summit (rope work, ice axe etc.) Overnight in Tents (2 person per tent) (B / L / D) 
Day 5 – Summit climbing day. BC (3650 m) –  Kazbek Summit (5054) – BC (3650 m.) This day we will start climbing at about 2:00 am. Average degree o is 45. It hardest places can be about 55 – 60 degrees. Climbing time depends on snow and ice condition. We will climb at the snow and ice slopes. We will descent from the classic road till the camp. (B / L-Box / D) Climbing total time 10 - 12 Hour 
Day 6 - Reserve day in case of bad weather. Overnight in Tents (2 person per tent) (B / L/ D) 
Day 7 - Return to Sameba Monastery (3-4 hours walking) and drive to Tbilisi. Night in Hotel (10 min walk to downtown). (B / L / -) 
Day 8 - Transfer to airport (B / - / -)
